(VOICE INFLECTIONS ARE THE HIGHS AND LOWS IN MUSIC/THE SYLLABLES OF THE WORDS WE SPEAK ARE THE RHYTHMS/PEOPLE BREATH AT COMMAS AND END OF PHRASES AND THE SAME GOES FOR MUSIC)

THE HEART BEAT BECOMES THE MAIN PULSE OF THE MUSIC-USUALLY REPRESENTED BY THE QUARTER NOTE
QUARTER NOTES/QUARTER RESTS EXPLAINED

QUARTER NOTE HAS A BODY (FILLED IN OVAL) WITH A STEM ADDED EITHER UP TO THE RIGHT OR DOWN TO THE LEFT (STEM DIRECTION DETERMINED BY WHAT LINE OR SPACE THE NOTE SITS ON)
QUARTER NOTES-BASIC BEAT LIKE THE HEART IS BASIC BEAT OF THE BODY IT IS A BEAT YOU FEEL AND HEAR
QUARTER REST: A SILENT BEAT YOU FEEL BUT DON'T HEAR
EIGHTH NOTES: CUTTING THE QUARTER NOTE IN HALF BY ADDING A FLAG MAKES IT TWICE AS FAST CALLED AN EIGHTH NOTE
A SUCCESSION OF 8TH NOTES WITH FLAGS MAY BE DIFFICULT TO SEE SO TO MAKE IT EASIER ON THE EYES THE FLAGS ARE HOOKED TOGETHER BY "BEAMS" INTO PATTERNS WHICH ARE EASIER TO SEE.

METER/TIME SIGNATURE EXPLANATION/MEASURES EXPLAINED/BAR LINES EXPLAINED

SHOW HOW MEASURES ARE MATHEMATICALLY DETERMINED BY THE METER/ SHOW HOW TO COUNT MATHEMATICALLY THEN MAKE IT EASIER BY COUNTING WITH TAHS (QUARTERS) TI-TI'S (EIGHTH NOTES IN PAIRS) AND SAYING "REST" for the QUARTER NOTE REST SYMBOL (SHOW BODY PERCUSSION "PATCH" FOR QUARTER NOTES AND SPLIT IN HALF FOR 8THS.
